Site Description:

Sampling site is in the grounds of the Czech Hydrometeorological Institute (CHMI) meteorological station northeast of the village Sedlec. It is situated in an agricultural land, mostly arable land of rise up to 10%. Passive samplers were deployed on a steel construction of a meteorological mast approximately 4 meters above the ground.

This sampling site can be classified as a rural background site. The strongest influence on concentrations of studied pollutants was probably the intense agricultural activity, but domestic heating and local transport are less likely sources.
