Site Description:

The sampling site is located in at the meteorological station Znojmo-Kuchařovice of the Czech Hydrometeorological Institute (CHMI),   Znojmo- Kuchařovice 246.  The station is situated on a small hill at the northern edge of the Kuchařovice village. The surrounding area is predominantly an arable land. Residential areas are located approximately 100 m away; nearby road traffic is minimal. Sampling occured at about 30 m northwest of the meteorological station building.

Possible sources of pollution on this site are anthropogenic influences (domestic heating) and dust from a nearby agricultural land. This sampling site therefore represents a rural area near larger city.
