Site Description:

The site is situated in the grounds of the Brno-Tuřany airport. It is a suburb, impacted site on the southeastern outskirts of the Brno city. The airport is on a plateau with grasslands without much built-up areas. There is a runway within approximately 100 m from the site. Passive samplers were deployed on the roof of the Czech Hydrometeorological Institute (CHMI) container, on a small mast approximately 3,5 meters above the ground.

Air transport and dust particles from surrounding fields are the majority sources of air pollution on this site. In addition, Influence of other anthropogenic sources from the Brno city can also readily occur.
