Site Description:

The sampling site is located in the southern part of Linz, on the plain, near the hilly areas. City of Linz has 200,000 inhabitants. In the immediate surroundings of the sampling sites are located steel and chemical factories.

Possible sources of air pollution are emissions from nearby industrial facilities (steel mills, chemical industry). Traffic is another important source of pollution. An important traffic intersection is at a distance of less than 1 km from the sampling site.
