Site Description:

Sampling sites are located in the saddle of mountain areas. The site is surrounded by forests. Passive air samplers were deployed on the roof of a container measuring air quality.

This sampling site can be classified as a mountain background site. Domestic heating (combustion of solid fuels) in nearby chalets and local transport are the only likely sources of pollution.
